VESPA

VESPA was developed by Steve Oakes and Martin Griffith at a 6th form College in Oldham.  They identified 5 areas which if underdeveloped led to underperformance at A Level.  The VESPA mindset is a series of diagnostic activities to help identify in which area you must develop as a student. 

 

The five characteristics and qualities they discovered in high-performing  students are vision, effort, systems, practice and attitude, or VESPA.
